Barbarians of the North Pole

Inspired slightly by the classic GW Christmas army from the Warmaster series, as well as my initial reaction to the reindeer being used to pull the chariots, I've included some pictures of my Barbarians of the North Pole army as well.  Once again, I'd love some critiques.  As with my first set of pictures I know my bases could use some work.  (This army is still a work in progress, have a full army set that hasn't been started to add to this, as well as the six berzerker units that I'm just now starting.)

Personally, I thought the candy cane bows and standard pole were enlightened, and my fellow coworkers and games have always given me smiles when they first see them.

Thanks for taking some time to take a look at my work and let me know what you think.

Wow! Very cool. I love the Archers! What are you using for the Snow base?

Re: Barbarians of the North Pole

Actually the snow base is from Games Workshop, from their new collection of basing materials.  Since I do play a bunch of GW games as well, (... okay...usually I'm just playing fantasy, but on occasion some of the other games as well...)

I use a mix of Vallejo, Reaper and GW paints as well.  My second barbarian set arrived last night I started priming them so I can have a full addition to it, as well as the six units of berserkers.   When the rest of the army is painted up, I'll post an updated picture.

Then I'll begin working on the three sets of orcs I have.

Hi Peryls

I like your army it looks great. I have always kind og made fun of the reindeer. A friend of mine has them I keep telling him to add red noses to them lol I would like to see the rest of them when you get them done.
