I really like this part.  Buying off enemy units, that seems rare in  tabletop wargaming and would be dastardly!

 or Hard copy and then sell adventure packs with the items inside to be painted and used with teh characters.
This is the best idea of all.  Seems like the last wargame that I could purchase adventure packs for was AD&D Battlesystem.

I agree.  IMO This makes for an interesting gaming session as well as a fun campaign.
