State of the Rebellion Address
Well, here we are in a New Year. 2008 was great for Rebel Minis and we had alot of great launches and releases. We released a bunch of new 15mm packs, some great Ambush Alley Scenarios and even launched Mighty Armies: Ancients...but for right now, let's look to 2009.
I get a bunch of emails every week checking on the status of projects, mostly Mighty Armies: Fantasy and or miniature releases. Well, let me give you some updates.
Updates on Me
I have had a bunch of emails and posts lately wondering what I am up to and why my posts have dropped. To be honest, my real Job is kicking my a$$. We found out that we were letting a bunch of employees go in Nov. and would not be hiring any new ones until the economy improved. That means I have been putting in 60+ hour weeks. I usually come home, pack a few orders and go to bed. I am not complaining, just giving you guys a heads up. I will try an anwsers all posts and emails, just give me little time to do it :)
Mighty Armies: Fantasy
We are still working on Fantasy. Right now we are focusing on 2 parts. One is some changes we need to make that came up in Ancients. The playtesters are working on this now and I hope to have a solution for this soon. The second this is the magic system. We have been working on a new magic System for Fantasy, one that basically allows a player to "build" his Mage/Shaman and design his magic system. Needless to say, this is undergoing alot of testing to make sure we keep the magic under control.
Minis:
-Swampdwellers are now in production and I am waiting for the product before I list them on the site.
-Frost Knights- We have had some promblems with the master molds. My Hope his to have this fixed for the production to begin at the end of Jan.
-Slithering Death- I now have all the sculpts and I am sending them off for the Master Molds. Wish us luck :)
Mighty Armies: Ancients
While designing some tournement rules, we discovered a few points that need to be worked on. Nothing major but some things that need to be addressed. Because we need that to be fixed, we have had to hold off on the printing of the hardcopy. I hope that will be ready to go soon alot of a tournemnt set of rules.
