The wife has provisionally let me off the leash to go to Salute in March (Excel centre, London, UK). Strangely enough, she's not that keen on coming with me.
I've got ideas for things I'd like to do with my little part of the MA world. Still the fantasy version, but thinking of Vikings/Saxons/Normans with a bit of magic to back them up. (Did I read once that there may be a dark ages version of MA? )
Also like the look of Slithering Death army, and have always had an idea knocking around in the back of my head for a "lost" Roman legion trying to get home.
There's not much posted on the Salute site yet about who will be there, wondering if MA:Fantasy with "build your own army" might be out by then? To start with, will probably make a few lists based on the Warhammer Ancient Battles army books that I've got.
Trying to narrow my list down to something I can stick to - every time I go to Salute I seem to change my mind when I see all the shiny stuff
