Yes, MIke has just started looking at this again.  Right now we are discussing making army lists (for Dark Ages) that can be used in tournaments.  After that we will probably look at the army building section in Ancients and tweak the stats if needed. 

So does this mean Fantasy gets pushed back again (for Dark Ages)...

I get the feeling people have been waiting for Fantasy to be honest. It seemed like we were on the right track last year and then it went nowhere.

How far down the track is Fantasy now then?

Hey Ben,

I plan to give a pretty good update whe I get a chance, but work and life don't seem to agree. The reason Dark Ages is moved up is mainly because of Mark :) and well, David and Jason too. I have not had much time to work on any of the books so Mark and Jason basically made the corrections/additions and poof it is almost ready.

David, at Splintered light has agreed to basically make most of the Armies, so I did not have to do that much new stuff army wise... So that is why DA has moved up.

As for Fantasy, well there needs to be more testing. And that is the problem. Most of the guys I had playtesting have either moved on, go into something else. Also, I have been thinking about paring it back some. We learned from Ancients some valuable lessons(tournament plays, uber armies) and I need to apply those to Fantasy to some degree. I hope to have some news soon..
