Anyone plan to use the AoA minis from Thanes game for MA?

HI... Just curious if anyone here was planning on using the MA rules in the future for armies based on the 15MM Armies of Arcana miniatures formerly of Thanes Games.com?

The line consisted of Amazons, Wolfen, Demons, Snakemen, and a few monsters.

Hi Napthyme,

A friend of mine has a Wolfen army from Thane.  He bought it just for use with MA.  He posts on here under the name of Wolfen (imagine that )  They have some nicely sculpted figures.  The new owner seems to have raised the prices quite a bit, unfortunately.

Well speak of the Devil... I'm the new owner.

Some of the figs have not gone up much at all, others have but not nearly like they would have if I had not moved the figs to a new caster who charges almost half what the old one did. at the old cost each Amazon would have been $1.75 and no one will pay that for them I am sure.

Looking at what other companies charge for there figs mine are not over priced for the market. Figs the size of the amazons run about $1.00 each on other sites and the final price will be close to that.

To be honest Thane had some of these over priced and some under priced and with what the caster wanted to spin the molds his retail was wholesale price. When he sold them to business's he wasn't even breaking even.

I'm still working to fine tune the prices and hopefully there will still be good value for money once there set in the web cart.

Just a quick suggestion for you...

You might want to update the images on some of the product pages and make them like the images from amazon page.  On that page, it looks like the models are shown with just an ink wash which really helps to bring out the details on them and they really do look very sharp.  In contrast, some of the other pages have models that are painted in such a way that the detail does not look very clean or the sculpt just does not look good.

Those are what Thane gave me when I bought the business. My camera skill is well completely awful. I can take 200 pics and have to throw out 199. I figured for a start a clear pic that was better then I can do was better then nothing.

To be honest there is not a lot of detail on the snakemen to obscure, why he paid sandra the big bucks to sculpt them I have no idea really. I am thinking I can do just as well as she did with a bit of practice.

Eventually I'll replace the pics there, but I need to get the cart set up first.
