Well, It has been a long road but I am happy to say the wait is almost over! We hope to have the PDF release of Mighty Armies this coming week! We hope to have the hard copies ready in about a month, we are just waiting for some quotes back from the publishing house.
Those of you familar with the Orignal Mighty Armies will not notice much of a change in the gameplay. We did make a few core changes. One of the main things we changed was how to tabulate the Group Fighting Score. We worked to make it simpler and easy to understand... and we did some more tweaking.
So, what is in the new version of the book, you ask?
Well, you get:
-The core rules
-Build Your Own Army section
-Missions- Great Combat Missions
-Siege Rules
-A Campaign System
-and some great Mighty Armies history!
We are also printing some Spell cards and even chits for arcane shields, bound and more. We hope to have those soon.
And here is what I am most excited about!
We have 15 new armies ready and another 10 planned in the next month. This is due, in large part , to us working with Splintered Light Miniatures. David and his crew and started building box sets like a madman! You can see most of the new armies here: So take a look when you get a chance! These are all 40pt pre-built armies!
