Activating in Red Ops 5

When one player rolls a 6 to activate, and the other rolls a 5 of 2 or whatever, who activates when and how? Since there are no Rep 6 models, what happens?

Re: Activating in Red Ops 5

Hi, and welcome!

In the first book, there are no 6 Rep models. These will come into play in the later scenarios. Right now, we treat the 6 as a 5 (highest). So if you roll a 6 and he rolls a 5, its a tie. If you roll a 6 and he rolls a 4, you move your 5+ models first and then it is his turn. Does that make sense?

Re: Activating in Red Ops 5

I'm confused on this now.  I thought you had to roll higher than your opponent?  Say I roll a 3 and my son rolls a 4, he moves his models/shoots/melee etc, then I move the zombies, attack etc, then we generate more zombies then roll again to see who goes first next round.

Re: Activating in Red Ops 5

You are correct, but that is really only to determine who goes first. Say you roll a 4 and your son rolls a 3. You go first and can move the models with a rep of 4 or better. He follows after your turn with 3 or better reps activating. Am I confusing you more :)
