OK, I'll start things off in the new forum. What armies are you planning (or already have) for Mighty Armies: Ancients?
I am working on Alexandrian Macedonians and Achaemenid Persians. Here are pics of the first units finished.

I have El Cid Feudal Spanish based, but not yet painted. I just ordered some Splintered Light Arthurians today for MA Ancients, and I plan on going through my Late Bronze Age figures and basing up some of them for MA Ancients.
I have been playing with DBA armies and those bases work quite well. But I am becoming fond of the big MA bases instead.
I have a large contingent of Romano-British from Splintered Light as well. I was thinking these would be too late of a period to mention with Ancients, but I was planning on using them as well. All of the infantry is finished. Just have the cav to paint. I think you will like the Splintered Light figures. I was really happy with mine!
Did we ever come up with a end date for the "Ancient" period? I know it is a matter of great debate with many different answers.
I was thinking of cutting it off at 500 AD, although in this system it really doesn't matter.
It will matter for the next Book, Mighty Armies: Dark Ages.
So, how about we go on record at a500 AD cut off?
